Commercial Wi-Fi Installation for Offices, Warehouses and Retail

Most Wi-Fi complaints come from access points placed by guesswork. RHC designs the wireless network from a site survey, runs the cabling to each access point, configures security and guest access, and proves coverage with a validation survey before we hand it over.

The challenges

  • Dead zones in conference rooms, warehouses and far corners of the floor.
  • Calls that drop when people walk between rooms, because roaming was never tuned.
  • Too many devices on too few access points, so the network slows down at peak hours.
  • Guests and IoT devices sharing the same network as company laptops.
  • Consumer routers and mesh kits that were never meant for a business.

How we do it

  1. 1Requirements: floor plans, number of users and devices, applications (voice, video, scanners) and security needs.
  2. 2Predictive design: a heat map of coverage and capacity built from the floor plan and the building materials.
  3. 3On-site survey: measurements on site to confirm the design in difficult areas such as warehouses or metal structures.
  4. 4Cabling and mounting: a Cat6 or Cat6A run to each access point, PoE switch capacity checked, access points mounted.
  5. 5Configuration: SSIDs, WPA3 or 802.1X authentication, VLANs, guest portal and roaming settings.
  6. 6Validation survey: a post-install survey that confirms signal, throughput and roaming against the design.

What’s included

Predictive and on-site wireless surveys
Access point placement for coverage and capacity
Cabling and PoE for every access point
Separate networks for staff, guests and IoT devices
Enterprise authentication with Microsoft Entra ID (802.1X)
Post-install validation report with heat maps

We work with the major business Wi-Fi platforms and can recommend one, or install the brand you already use.

Why RHC

Design based on measurements, not on the number of access points in a kit
Wi-Fi tied into your Microsoft identity, so staff sign in with their work account
Cabling and wireless delivered by the same team
Coverage proven with a validation survey before handover

Frequently asked questions

It depends on the floor area, the building materials and above all how many devices connect at once. The predictive design gives a number before you buy anything.
